In the racing world it pays to be on the edge of innovative technology, and the O’Reilly All Star Family of series is not an exception. Now sprint car fans, drivers and teams can keep track of the All Star Series on their cell phone thanks to Twitter Text Service.

Always know what is going on no matter where you are with the O’Reilly All Star Family of Series by joining the All Star Twitter Text Service. This will be the same service that the All Star Officials will be using to communicate with teams and drivers about cancellations and schedule changes, so it pays for teams, drivers and fans to subscribe to the service.

To join the service all you need to do is send the message: follow ascoc for the All Star Circuit of Champions, follow aslms for the All Star Late Model Series, or follow mdwas for the Midwest All Stars to 40404. Once the text is sent follow the prompts to be added to the distribution list. Standard text messaging rates do apply.  If after awhile you change your mind, being deleted from the distribution list is as easy as texting leave with the appropriate series code after it. Thats all there is to it! For more information visit www.twitter.com. Or visit our twitter page at www.twitter.com/ascoc.

Ohio Sprint Speedweek

Image The Silver Anniversary of the Ohio Sprint Speedweek proved to be one of the most competive weeks in racing during the 2007 All Star season. Dale Blaney nearly captured the $50,000 bonus that would be given to anyone who could win four events during the seven nights of racing. However, it was the consistancy of Shane Stewart that captured the Ohio Sprint Speedweek Points Title. Follow all of the action during the 26th Annual Ohio Sprint Speedweek (June 22nd- 28th) here at the home of the All Stars.
